Villa Tortuga · Marbella
Marbella · Costa del Sol
A Mediterranean villa with mature trees already in place, where the challenge was to integrate a new pool and its surroundings without losing the shade or character of the existing garden.
The challenge
The plot already had mature trees and a newly built pool, but the space around it remained unresolved: loose soil, with no lawn or planting to complement the house and respect the existing trees.
The solution
Natural lawn running in a clean line to the pool's edge, a palm tree as the centrepiece by the sun deck, and a perimeter of low-maintenance Mediterranean planting — agaves, cacti and shrubs — over white gravel framing the plot.
